I booked flights with British Airways when there was a ridiculously good offer on flights from Manchester to New York JFK for £252 return. Our party was made up of four adults and we took advantage of the online check-in in order to choose our seats and speed up the process at the airport.

Advantages: On time, not bad for a holiday airline Disadvantages: Poor food, cramped
Britannia Airways are one of the biggest package holiday airlines in Britain and most of their passengers are customers of Thomson Holidays. We go Thomson most years when off on our summer hols so I?ve used Britannia a several times now.
I?ll be honest from the start, Britannia are not a patch on British Airways. But it is unfair to compare the two airlines as Britannia operate on a much tighter budget than British Airways. If you compare the amount of money you pay for a seat on British Airways and the amount Thomson pay for your seat on Britannia I am sure there will be a big difference. So Britannia are a package holiday airline have tight budgets and as well as flying you to your destination they are expected to provide entertainment, decent food and overall give you a pleasant flight.
What would you prefer ? pay an extra £250 ...
