Advantages: nice rooms, great bar and restaurant Disadvantages: quite pricey
The white hart hotel is situated opposite Kingston bridge on the Hampton wick side of the river. The hotel opened in 2001 and is said to be 'the most attractive hotel in the Kinston area,' although it was only rated three stars by the English regional tourist board. From what I made of the hotel when I stayed there I would rate it at four stars. The rooms are furnished in an old style but to a high standard, there is a lovely secluded courtyard area at the rear of the hotel and there is free parking for guests. The car park is also situated at the rear of the hotel and is barrier operated, so you're car is relatively safe. At the front of the hotel there is a pub and restaurant, which is open daily both to guests and non-guests. These are traditional in style and offer some nice drinks and have an excellent food menu. Advantages: In the centre of London, great breakfast, fairly good value Disadvantages: Tired decor, noisy water pipes, poor TV channel choice
Just got back from a lovely weekend in London and stayed at the the Washington Hotel in Mayfair. Do I reccommend this hotel - well it is good value. I booked direct from their website and it cost £89 plus VAT including full breakfast for two. This is for a 4 star hotel in the heart of London. The foyer is nice, clean, spacious and welcoming and check in was without any hassle. Our room was clean, but the decor in the room was tired. Some chips on the furniture, scuffs on the walls and skirting board and the bathroom needed a really deep clean. I'm also a bit of a satellite TV fand there was only Sky News, CNN and some Indian channels, plus the normal 5 terrestrial channels. Even though Sky Sports was promoted in the room literature it wasn't there, so rather disappointing.
The bed was comfortable, but it took a while to get to ...
Advantages: good price and value. Good brand Disadvantages: Not the fastest around.
Here you have the Kingston ValueRAM DRAM 512 MB PC2100 (266mhz). Kingston has always been known to by many to be very good, reliable RAM being delivered to you at low costs which is excellent. I have used Kingston many times and never experienced any problems what-so-ever. You can purchase this stick for around 35£ from a place such as ebuyer. It just shows that it is kind of outdated as it has dropped from the 65£ or so it was when it was originally developed!
This stick of RAM I would not recommend if you are a gamer as Kingston offers a bit more than 266MHZ (the speed it is rated for) in some of its newer sticks. I do say that this is good for a computer that is used for simple day to day tasks such as word processing. It is great for use in the office. That is where I have mine installed.
Installation is a breeze: Just follow ...
