Aaah the shopping centre - for some, heaven on earth. For others, HELL on earth - the stuff of their worst nightmares. Well everyone pinch yourself because this is very real - Meadowhall centre - and I think that even those with a complete aversion to shopping might wanna pay attention. I moved to Kimberworth near Rotherham 3 years ago now. I live within a mile of Meadowhall Shopping Centre. I can see the familiar big glass dome of Oasis (the food hall) from where I live. I remember when I first saw it, I asked my boyfriend what it was as I first spotted it at night all lit up like a christmas tree. Me: 'Hey whats that dome thingy over towards Sheffield?' INTRODUCTION Meadow hall is a real shopatunity for everyone, this is a huge retail shopping centre located in Sheffield, this has many as 270 large shopping stores all under the one roof. Meadowhall is situated on the M1 at junction 34, and is accessible for a number of locations. Let’s face it, the time was always meant to come when ‘our Jules’ here would endeavour to write a review on the perils of shopping – and here it jolly well is!
