Located the Mears website to reserve transportation from Orlando Airport to local hotel. Navigated through the details of my reservation; destination, flight information and dates. Clicked through the confirm reservation and entered my credit card infomration. The confirm screen redisplayed and as a result was unable to pay.
Clicked on the "Contact Us" link and only local phone numbers are displayed with a physical mailing address. In the age of the internet one would think the Mears website would provide an email link.
What is the purpose of a website if you cannot schedule customer pickup or allow electronic contact? Obviously not a PeopleSoft CRM solution!
When considering a website make sure the website is functional. And identify your customer base. In this case the customer is traveling from outside the state of Florida. Either provide a "Toll Free" phone number or a customer service web link.
