Advantages: Wonderful beach, small town which hasn't been overdeveloped and still retains it's fishing village charm Disadvantages: Only one road into resort which gets extremely busy during high season, town centre can be noisy late at night in high season
- and the views of the Les Medes islands opposite the resort and the surrounding area are pretty fantastic. L'Estartit also has it's own marina which is full of boats: this makes for a pretty evening stroll, flanked by bars and restaurants.
The town is reached by a main road running from Torreolla de Montgri into L'Estartit. This is the only road into town and hence it does get incredibly busy during peak periods, mostly Easter, July and August.
The town's main attraction is the beach, which stretches along the front of the main town and beyond. The beach is sandy, and safe for children, as it has a natural sandbank, meaning that it's easy to go a long way out without going out of your depth. The beach is clean, and, at the town end of the beach, there is parking, and a first aid centre, as well as a couple of beach bars offering snacks ...
The wait is finally over and Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 has finally arrived. I was eagerly anticipating its release, so much so that I pre-ordered it the first day that it was available to do so. The original Modern Warfare and World at War are probably my 2 favourite games of all time, so would one of the most hyped up games of all time, live up to expectations ?

Right from the beginning I was impressed. The adverts before the actual game are again skippable, which means you're ready to start shooting in seconds. The first menu lets you go into whichever game mode you want and all in all the game looked excellent after the first minute or so.

Oh my god, modern warfare 2 is out and I?ve got it. With over 7 million copies sold world wide, on released date, modern warfare has no shortage of people to play with. Modern warfare 2 is the sequel to most probably the best shooter of all time (until this one) and this one expands and improves in almost everyway. There has been a lot of controversy about certain content which personally I don?t see that much of a problem with but if you don?t want to see it you can block that section out so what?s the biggy.
