Medina Executive St. Kilda, Melbourne

The location of this hotel gives you the best of both worlds, a 20 minute tram ride from the centre of Melbourne and the beach with lots of restaurants and bars is a short 10 minutes walk away. There are restaurants outside Medina and having read a review we requested a room in the south tower, they accommodated us and we found this to be the quietest apartments we have stayed in ensuring we could get a good nights sleep. Although the view from our room wasn't anything to write home about.

The facilities in the apartment were excellent. The room was very clean with a daily maid service. The room included a fridge and freezer, dish washer, washing machine and tumble dryer, television which to my delight shown the fox sports channels meaning i could watch the premiership football, kettle, microwave and toaster. There was also an electric hob so you could cook for yourself. The daily maid service included a daily top up of teas and any coffee that had been used, your bed made for you, clean towels every day if you wanted them and sometimes they even washed the pots for us. The reception was also very helpful in giving us tourist information and maps etc.

The bathroom was very clean, there was a bath, an enclosed shower, sink and toilet. There was soap, shampoos and the normal thing you usually get in hotel bathrooms.

The tours we did also picked us up from Medina. The tram service into Melbourne was brilliant, the stop was across the road and the trams were very frequent.

We would definitely stay at these apartments again as we are willing to pay the price for guaranteed comfort and cleanliness. A great place to explore Victoria from with St Kilda giving a relaxed holiday vibe.
