My partner and I (both early 20's) have stayed at this resort twice, both in and out of the summer season and I would recommend not only the hotel but the area itself to anyone thinking of going. Stunning beaches, great night-life for all ages and beautiful restaurants surround this grand hotel, with the bustling Las Americas resort a 10 minute walk one way and the beautiful Los Christianos 10 minutes the other. The rooms are bright, spacious and spotlessly clean, which goes for the whole hotel including the the restaurants, foyer, and beautiful marble corridors. The pool is indescribable, you really need to see a picture of it to believe it. The staff are firendly, polite and speak excellent English. Overall it may need a bit of a touch up, but I would give it 10/10 everytime.

Quick review of Mediterranean Palace Hotel, Tenerife
Just returned from the Med Palace Hotel on 27th July after a two week stay.I thought it was a fantastic hotel,needs a bit more modern decor and a lick of paint,but faultless to a T. The staff were polite and spoke good English.The bar staff were a delight and full of fun and waited on u hand and foot.Very clean with towels and linen changed every day. No shortage of sun loungers but be early if u want a good spot.Breakfast had something for everyone.Some great restaurants and bars just around the corner.The beach just a stroll away and brilliant.Thanks to all the staff i met and hope to see u again next year! ...

Advantages: Too many to list Disadvantages: More expensive than we expected
First of all, I may as well get the shocker (for us anyway) out of the way - we stayed at Playa de Las Americas, and with all of the horror stories I heard after booking, well I wasn't keen on going. I expected to be staying in a loud, busy resort full of pubs and clubs and very little of anything Spanish. Suffice is to say we were pleasantly surprised.
**BOOKING**
We had booked the holiday through Thomas Cook for approx £440 each b and b for 7 nights including flights and insurance but no transfers. That was fine as the resort is fairly near Tenerife South Airport and we hired a car so we could get about for the week.
We were staying at the MediterraneanPalaceHotel, part of a 5* complex at Playa de la Camison Beach, on the outskirts of Las Americas, on the way to Los Cristianos.
