Melaka is a very historical state to visit.you can visit a lot of places such as the portuguese settlement,A Famosa which is the fortess gate ,the palace ,baba nyonya house(baba nyonya-chinese speaks fluent malay dialect).Melaka people were very nice.people from different races such as malay,indian and chinese (3 main races in malaysia) living in peace and harmony.Melaka well known dinner is ikan bakar which is grilled fish with few type of gravy and few types of seafood eat with nasi lemak(coconut rice and hot spicy sauce).i had ikan bakar for dinner at a place call Muara Sungai Duyong and the food was so delicious and the service was excellent.The price is around 10pound for 4people.i bought few antiques at Jonker Street which is next to a red building and the famous clock tower at Stadhuys Building.we enjoyed the food and the place very much eventhough it is hot over there.public transportation was just ok.but it was a great trip.definitely coming back to malaysia
