Brasília, the capital of Brazil, was built on a gigantic scale on the Central Brazilian Plateau, a large area which covers a few States in central Brazil. It is part of the federal district so not officially part of any state but geographically it lies within the state of Goiania. Brasilia is a modern city.
At the time of construction full license was given to the planners and architects to build large, innovative buildings and to fully use their freedom of spirit and imagination. Another purpose was to open up the interior of the country to development. This is one reason why the central government was moved there. Advantages: 24 kms from Fiumicino Airport. Disadvantages: Location.

The Melia is a four star Luxury Hotel with conference centre.
We stayed three nights.
Cost £196.59 for a standard room. This was for three nights (£65.53 per night).

Check in time 1pm. Check out time 12 Noon.

Location: About 6km North East of the Vatican City.
Airport we flew into: Fiumicino. Aprrox 24 Kms from The Melia.
Our visit to the Hotel Melia was an exceptional experience, we thoroughly enjoyed
our stay and would definitely go back. This is all about how we got there and what

It was a little more difficult for us to travel ...
My partner and i were recently in london for the weekend so i looked up expedia to see which hotels we could stay in and i decided on the melia white house as i thought it looked nice and was in a medium price range.
The hotel is conveniently located as it is only about 3-5 minutes walk from the great portland street tube station which means that it is easy to get to other parts of london from the hotel. Also it is not far from regents park and london zoo is a 30 minute walk. We also walked to the camden market as it was only about 10-15 minutes walk from london zoo. We also found that the hotel was easy to get to from heathrow airport as you can take the tube and you 0only have to make one change of tube line.
When we arrived at the hotel it looked exactly like it did on the website with the reception area looking grand ...
