Expensive couple of hours entertainment
Advantages: Plenty of vigilant lifeguards on duty Disadvantages: A bit shabby and very expensive
I visited the Park on my recent holiday to Menorca and this review is spot on!
Totally agree with all the points but would add that the prices reduce after 2.30 and that the Park is looking a bit tired now. Nothing too shabby, but an area of poolside (next to the childs slide) is covered by a mat, presumable to cover some cracked tiles. Mind you, we did go at the end of the season (August/Sept 2008).
Not being a huge fan of water parks and with ... ...to compare this to but, overall, it kept us entertained for about 2 hours. After that, the kids had had enough and were happy to leave. That makes it a very expensive as, even after 2.30, it cost us 28 Euros.
The cart track mentioned is very poor and VERY expensive! The carts are shabby and pretty unsafe (seatbelts held on with cable ties!) and there is only one attendant doing everything from selling tickets to safety marshall! I would recommend ...

The small and friendly airport!
Advantages: Easy to navigate round, nice friendly airport Disadvantages: Not enough shops (but expected due to its size)
...island Mahon. Otherwise known as Mahon Airport it is currently undergoing a regenration project to further improve the facilities to its passengers with a new terminal which should have views over the airfield and its single runway. The airport has a flying club situated to one side of the airfield although another smaller airfield is located about 20mins away in San Luis. The airport serves the Baleric islands and Spains main airports throughout ... ...served from various destination countries from mainly european tour operators with the busiest airport days being primarily at the weekends including Fridays and Mondays. The airport is the main gateway to the second largest of the Balearic islands unless you want to catch the ferry or catamaran from Majorca.
On arrival buses meet your aircraft and ferry you to just under the new terminal construction work where you have to disembark and make your ...

Welcome to a delay in the sunshine
Advantages: Good facilities, range of shops and decent toilets Disadvantages: Too small for demand
...the island away from mahon where it is much quieter. The towns of Ciutadella and Mahon are great places to visit, but to get to this island you are most likely to fly. And this is your problem. Menorca has seen something like a 5 fold increase of passengers since the airport terminal was built, so simply there is not enough check in desks, gates, room in departure lounge or places on the tarmac. I have flown from this airport twice and i have entertained ... ...but a bus service to Mahon operates on a limited service and it is fairly easy to get a taxi to wherever you want on the island
Airlines fly regularly in summer season, and flights are easy to find with First Choice, Monarch, Thomson and Thomas Cook flying regularly. You may have a bit more trouble out of season, but you should find flights with these operators fairly easily. Even when you can't a connection in barcelona should suffice. People always ...

My Bum Is Still Defrosting
Advantages: Air conditioned and with a surprising range of facilities for such a small place Disadvantages: Quite a way from the most popular resorts - Forcat and Bosch
Mahon airport is not all that big, but since it’s the only airport to serve Menorca, it’s pretty busy. About 20 minutes south of the city from which it takes its name, it’s set among palm trees and fir trees and lots of other trees which give it a countryside feeling. From the moment you see the “Welcome to Mahon airport” sign, it’s 5 or 10 minutes, up a long, winding, naturally tree-lined road to the terminal ... ...to your hotel/villa or to Mahon from where you can catch a bus. Go straight ahead and out of the doors in front of you, then veer left for the taxi queue. Do this as soon as possible, because there aren’t all that many cars at times, and being last in line at 1am is not nice. I know. I’ve been there.
Also on the ground floor you’ll find what they call Tourist Info, but what I call a desk with a totally monolingual guy and some ...
