Advantages: very reasonably priced

Hotel Cala n Blanes - Cala n Blanes ,FIRST CHOICE
Advantages: MENORCA A LOVELY PLACE TO VISIT
Disadvantages: HOTEL A LITTLE DISSAPOINTING
...of Porridge!!!!
The whole hotel has either tiled or marble floors which was VERY noisy,even a fairy in slippers would have sounded like a herd of buffalo stampeding across the Sarangeti !! Had the rooms had carpets then this would of deadened some of the noise. Unfortunately our room was next to the stairwell so we heard all and sundry coming and going, and to add insult we overlooked the tarmac carpark rather than the villas or sea, flippin typical!!

...just leave a 10 euro deposit. beware of Jellyfish and make sure you look for the flags, Green-ok. Amber- at your own risk. Red- stay out of the water.
Food/Drink
OK on the first or even second day, however the same old chicken,veal, lamb,cheese,salami and of course don't forget CHIPS did get very wearing. The soup is all powdered, and be prepared to wait in line (unless you don't have any manners like some residents!)

Blanc Palace
Advantages: Clean, Helpful staff, Reasonable
Disadvantages: Can be noisy
...holiday staying in the Blanc Palace complex and on the whole found I to be a nice place to stay.
The complex is fairly large so there is a bit of a walk to the further rooms from the reception and bar areas, the rooms were functional and clean some might say a little basic but nothing that would spoil your holiday, the room we were in did face the main road and at certain times of the day & night could be a little noisy with general traffic and ...
...as quite a lot of tiled floor hotels it does suffer from the terrible noise of furniture being dragged across the floors above you.
The main pool is fairly large,clean and deep with a children's pool by the side of it with plenty of sun beds which aren't allowed to be reserved with the towel scenario, the pool side bar had the normal snacks and refreshments that you would expect, we did find the price in the bar higher than we expected but that ...

Nice hotel in a beautiful resort
Advantages: Lovely Hotel, great views
Disadvantages: Not for the less mobile
...Menorca was spent in the Confortel Anabel. We saw a few images in the brochure but didn't really know what to expect of where the hotel was in comparison to the resort, were there any bar/restaurants nearby etc. The bus from the airport drove a different way as the hotel is at the top of a hill it went the safe way roun along the top where it is already flat. There is another road opposite the hotel which is very steep, which goes down into the resort. ...
...Our room was rite at the back of the complex and was one of the most furthest away. The rooms were very bright and spacious. Nice clean beds and bathroom was cleaned everyday. We had a tele, Hair dryer, free safe and all the normal things acquired in a hotel. When we opened the curtains onto the balcony though we knew we had not got one of the better views. Advantages: Intimate for couples yet child friendly!
Disadvantages: Quite a few steps
The Eden Binibeca is an experience 'not' to be missed. If you are seeking tranquility and a touch of luxury this is the place to be. My apartment was wonderful with beautiful decor throughout and a very good air-con system. The bathroom was fantastic! complete with jacuzi (big enough for 2) and a nice big shower too, lots of marble everywhere and fluffy towels every day. ...A good size balcony with table and chairs for al fresco dining and a view of the sea. The complex is intimate for couples yet child friendly for families. There is a choice of pools, mine was about ten steps away from the apartment and surounded by comfortable loungers. Around the complex is beautiful fragrant plants of vibrant colours (a treat for the senses). The staff are friendly and very helpfull making you feel just that little bit more special. ...
