If you like Spain and have young children then go to Menorca and stay at Punta Prima. It is a small resort with many visitors during the day but a lot quieter on a night. It is ideal for families with younger children, if you take them for a meal on a night time there are not a lot of older teenagers hogging the pool tables etc.
The beach is clean and the sea is shallow, you can wade out for quite a distance before it gets too deep. Sometimes it gets a little windy and the sand gets blown about a bit but in general the breeze is more than welcome. If you stay self catering then the food prices in the shops are very reasonable. Finally, if you do go to Punta Prima you must visit the pub called "La Bolera", run by Jordi and Brenda, you will recieve the warmest welcome you will ever have.
