Advantages: Ease of use, good offers Disadvantages: Inconsistent
...The Hanover International Hotel chain only have hotels in the UK (well actually having checked the locations it is only England and Wales).
They have 14 Hotels in Skipton, Huddersfield, Scunthorpe, Ashbourne, Hinckley, Daventry, Dunstable, Harpenden, Cardiff Bay, Bromsgrove, Reading, Basingstoke, Chewton(Bristol) and Eynsham (Oxford). The hotels are all 3 or 4 stars and 'most' of the ones I have visited are very good.
All have good facilities such as pools, saunus, gyms, and most offer good business facilities as well.

...I Arrived at the Hanover early afternoon Tuesday 12 August (Grouse shooting season begins). On arrival met by young man who had me fill in forms. Asked by manager?? to follow hotel worker and was led outside hotel, around some side streets back to main street and then to another hotel the Edward. Informed that this was part of his hotel (which the manager of the other hotel had told me was a lie). This hotel books you in even if full, takes your money and then books you into a lower price one. Had my transaction cancelled immediately. Buyer Beware. RS Glasgow...

Advantages: Nicely furnished, good facilities Disadvantages: High drink and food prices, poor service, questionable food quality

On Sunday 11th January I needed to be in High Wycombe for a mid-afternoon meeting, followed by a 10.30 appointment in Hereford the following day, thus I needed somewhere to stay.
Always price conscious, and particularly this time having to pay for it myself, I scanned the internet, but could find nothing in Hereford that appealed to me; the offerings were either mediocre and cheap, or outstanding and bloody expensive, at which point I decided it was time to widen the search.
Doing this, I stumbled across the Hanover International in Bromsgrove, some 1½ hours drive from Hereford; with such a late start this seemed perfectly reasonable. However, having stayed in the Hanover International, Ashbourne in August, albeit for a good price...
