We were lucky and had one of the biggest rooms therefore the room was a nice size and clean. The bathroom was very new and had a great shower as well as a bath.The location was between a train station and a metro which made it very accessible. It was also surrounded by sushi restaurants, and supermarkets so food was not an issue. Breakfast was basic and served before 10am, which is a good incentive to wake up and visit Paris. Having read other reviews on other sites we were given the impression that it would be rather noisy and in a bad area, the area was normal, not extravagant and not derelict, the noise level in the corridors was loud however within our room there were no noise issues. The railway is relatively near therefore there might be some slight vibrations but nothing that would cause a massive nuisance. ...

The last time I was in Paris I happened to be staying in a hotel near LaDefense. I was travelling for business, not pleasure, and therefore had not looked at a guide book about it before I arrived. When I stepped out of the LaDefense metro station I had not been expecting anything and was so impressed with what I did see. A skyful of what are to me beautiful, modern, oddly-shaped skyscrapers. I thought it was a wonderful site, amazingly modern looking in a city where so much stature is placed in what is old and historic. I am delighted that I came across this place. The museum, or exhibition area, at the top of the Grande Arch is very impressive. It's also nice to get an aerial shot of Paris that ISN'T from the top of the Eiffel Tower!
