When the call came for me to play Ice Hockey in Rouen for NYPD on 10th January, I was somewhat confused.
"Where is Rouen?" I knew it was in france somewhere but where?
Let me tell you.
Rouen is a town located in the Northwestern part of France and is the capital of Normandy.
It sits alongside the Seine and is famous for its old world buildings, churches and cathedral.
As well as this, it also has many cobbled streets around the town centre which retains its character with antiques shops and small french cafes and restaurants.
How do you get there.
Well, you have a couple of options.
Firstly, there is an excellent Train Station in the middle of the town. The station or "Gare" is on a direct line from Paris and costs about 60 Euros for the journey which is just over an hour and a half.

Sometimes, english people say that french are chauvisme, they love too much their country...
And I am french...
Rouen is in Haute -Normandy, normandy is the region like hampshire, but in region you can find department : Seine maritime...
It is very near from england, you have airport (alright little airport, ) a station ("gare") in center town, or you can use ferry with your car or with your feet lol
All of these trips during approximately 2 hours...
I know that english love going out :
In "old center" you can find between "place du vieux marché" et the cathedral (the big, big cathedral" lot of pub, or typically french restaurant (ok and mac do, and kebab shops, and japan italian restaurants)

almost. Far from Gallagher and co claiming the Lennon crown, it is Gaz Coombe's crowd that have done more to deserve it. They have countless tracks that any other band would kill for. So why is it that every week, at local nightclub/dive The Tiv, the only 'Grass song that gets played is Alright?
What Supergrass never had - without taking anyway away from their other tunes - was a truly sincere, truly masterful piece of work. All their songs were great, but all their songs were also three minute pop tunes. And every tune had, somewhere hidden craftily away, the resounding influence of Alright.
