This is a great resort for the experienced skier. Meribel is for the snow sport fanantic. If you are the type wanting to learn. This is not the best environment. Got to America where you are accepted at any level. Meribel is a beautiful place with loads to do other than ski or snowboard. I enjoyed the unspoilt scenery. This is the place for the avid sportsperson. Also, for those who enjoy the apres ski as much as the sport in itself. There are some great bars, such as Dick's T Bar. An enjoyable place, but don't let the fanatics get to you.
