Unfortunately, like many a loss making state owned near monopoly, the airline manages the difficult feat of being overmanned without being able to provide a decent service.
If the ground staff are not on strike at the airport, then it is the cabin crew. As a frequent traveller, I can safely say that no other airline.
If there is a choice, get there by Meridiana, Ryanair , or even BA...

Advantages: It's gorgeous! Disadvantages: A bit unclean
