I spent three nights here last Valentines having eaten in The Cellar resturaunt on a previous visit to Dublin. This time we ate in The Patrick Guilbaud - a two michelin starred resturaunt also inside the hotel. We had lunch on Valentines day and it was absolutely fantastic, the service was second to none, as it is in the rest of the hotel, nobody can do enough for you cleaners stop to open doors for you, and the desk and bar staff are brilliant. We thought the staff must be on double money permenantly as we have never stayed at a hotel with such good service before. The room was just a standard one but was spacious and very nicely decorated and the bathroom was italian marble. It was probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, taking everything into account and we hope to return next year with my parents as it is their 40th wedding anniversery and I think it will be the best present ever, even if it does bankrupt me!!
