Merry Hill is brilliant!As the former largest shopping mall in europe,Merry Hill has every shop you can think of. Such highstreet names as GAP, BHS, Marks and Spencer, Debenhams, Whsmiths and numerous well known girls shops (miss selfridge, jane norman to mention a couple)grace the mall in the heart of the black country in the midlands. As I have lived near the centre since it was first built and worked there for two years, I can quite honestly say it houses one of the best shopping experiences I have seen.
The site contains the main mall area as well as a seperate collection of shops such as PC World and Mothercare superstore just 5mins walk from the mall. The Merry Hill centre has 3 Mc Donalds, 2 Pizza Huts, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken aswell as a Harry Ramsdons fish and chip bar. The centre is light and airey na dfor a mall of its age, feels suprisingly modern.
Since the road system was changed a few years ago the traffic situation round the mall has got a lot better, but i would still advise to get the bus on saturdays or around christmas as the car parks get jammed packed. Along with the shops and eateries, Merry Hill has a ten screen cinema and a bowling alley close by. The centre has good disabled facilities and weelchairs are also available for hire.
As you can see Merry Hill has most of the things that you want from a shopping centre, it not all, so when choosing where to take that all important xmas shopping trip, put Merry Hill at the top of the list
