...WOW!!! Like this I will start, because the 3 days I spend in the Metropolitan Hotel, they were far away from fantastic, they were WOW :- ), yes I repeat my self. But can you imagine everyone treating you as a royalty? Without any lie, I can tell that, you think to something, you don't say it out loudly and you have it!!! ~~ Reservation ~~ Now I'll tell you the reason of being there, on 26 September me and my husband we made 2 years since we are together, not so long time, but for us it was a big day, and we wanted to celebrated as we felt it will the best. So we took a trip on the internet hotels offers, we analyzed, and we got to a conclusion, because we love each other so much, we should treat us with what is the best in our anniversary day. ...The Metropolitan, located on Howe St., very central in Vancouver's bustling West End, is a wonderful place to stay when traveling on business or pleasure. ROOMS: Guest rooms are spacious and gracious--linens and matresses are top-notch, creating an extremely comfortable sleep environment. Bathrooms are large and well-appointed with marble counter-tops and wonderfully aromatic soaps and shampoos. (They weren't so good that I wanted to steal extras, though!) EXERCISE FACILITIES: The spa/swimming pool/workout room are combined in an open, inviting environment. Huge windows open onto Vancouver's downtown core, inviting the sun to shine or the rain clouds to loom, as Vancouver weather tends to change dramatically from one minute to the next. ...room. I would therefore presume that they were all of this standard. As an apology for the inconvenience, I got loads of free cookies, plus another one each day in a cookie jar in my room, a free newspaper each day plus tickets for free buffet-breakfast for the rest of my stay which made the whole move ok! I was staying room only as most hotels charge ridiculous prices for their breakfasts, and the Doubletree Metropolitan was no exception, however armed with my free breakfast token, I indulged every morning. The food was freshly prepared and there was a wide selection to choose from. Everything from a traditional cooked breakfast to cereals, fruit salads, fresh fruit plus lots more.
