...Cortinad’Ampezzo is called the jewel of the Dolomites. It deserves this for its unique and beautiful location, and..also, for the fact that many rich people go there and are not shy of displaying their jewels! A flat in Cortina sells for around the same price of an equivalent flat in Chelsea. A good place to stay is the Internationl Camping Olympia, otherwise, my suggestion would be to stay in some agritourist ppalce not far from Cortina. If you fancy visiting the town, you can come for a day trip by car, while if you want to go trekking in summer, you do not need to be based here. I only visited Cortina during winter once, but I was too young to remember....

...Cortina. It isn't so simple to tell what Cortina is.
When you think to Cortina the first idea that comes to mind is 'a rich place for really rich people' and you think to politicians, to movie people or to rich people in general that always go there for holidays.
Well, this is a part of what Cortina is, we should tell that this is its visiting-card for tourists, visitors and foreign people who like the idea to meet the 'high society'.
But Cortina is more than this: much, much more. The Pearl of Dolomites is really something extraordinary, that also lies in an extraodinary region.

Now owned by Centerparcs, Oasis, Whinfell Forest, near Penrith in the Lake District is a wonderful place to spend a few fun filled days away from home.
Set in the Cumbrian countryside, close to the M6/A66 intersection (M6 Junction 40), the location is extremely peaceful, interrupted only by the sudden roar of occasional low flying fighter jets and the persistent clap of thunder.

Thank god, Oasis are back with yet another masterpiece. "Go Let It Out" is a new side to Oasis, and yet a geart and welcome one. More complicated guitar and bass work work together with some pretty nifty lyrics to make a truely amazing song come to life. more
