Miami, has finaly managed to shake off the negative image it once had, and thank-god.I am so glad I went and would definatley go back. The residents are the most beautiful, freindly people I have met. Although when I landed it was raining one hour later the sun was out and shining brightly, and it stayed that way for the rest of my stay. If you go to Miami, then expect long delays at the airport once you land, there are always loads of taxis outside the airport and the trip from airport to ocean drive is relativley cheap. Shopping is great here, check out lincon mall, and if you get the chance hop on a bus to Sawgrass Mills, an absolutley massive mall selling amongst others DKNY at rock bottom prices. Eat breakfast at the news cafe also on ocean drive and watch in amazement as celebrities and models jog by. The beach is clean and a great place to sit and relax with a smoothie from Tutis Cafe on collins avenue (They make the best smoothie in the world)before you go clubbing, and there is plenty to choose from. English and spanish are the main spoken languages and some even speak (and this is true) a mixture of english and spanish called, spanglish. An excellent destination, where you shop and sunbathe in the afternoon, eat in the evening and dance your life away at night. then sleep during the day. go now! and make sure you take aphoto of the sunset it is one you will treasure.

Advantages: Gorgeous beaches, fantastic nightlife, amazing weather, kids clubs are excellent, great weather Disadvantages: (you don't want to leave!!), food at hotel is not so good.
