On walking into the pub

When you get to the pub there is a small step to get inside, then you just go straight through the doors into a fairly large room. The first thing of the pub you will notice is probably the dance floor which is pretty large itself. All along the outside of this there is plenty of seating area, and on the walls of the pub too. There is plenty of space to move around in the pub, and also a lot of standing room rather han just on the dancefloor.

The bar is based at the back of the pub and is quite large in size, and to the left of the bar is the toilets which are both close together.

Toilets

Well the toilets do leave a lot to be desired, it is all covered in graffitti all over the toilets, it is not a pleasant site to have to look at when you want to go to the toilet. I will say though that the toilets have always been well stocked up with toilet roll, but there is always a lack of soap to wash your hands, and there are no hand driers, its all paper towels, which some may prefer.

Prices

I paid £5.90 for a pint of lager and a pint of cider in here, which I found to be quite reasonable, as it is what I pay in most places.

Staff

With the bar and pub bother been quite large they do have about 5 members of staff behind the bar, they do serve you pretty quickly and waiting times are very minimal. The staff were always polite when I went but did not strike up conversation as it is just too loud.

Entertainment

When I went in here they had a disco on, which played all the modern music and most of it was all dance tracks. It was a good disco but they did play the music very loud and it almost seemed like a night club.

Suitable for disabled

I would say not as there is a small step to get in and there are no disabled toilets, but there would be plenty of room inside to be able to move about.

Overall opinion

This is not somewhere I would go again as it just did not suit me, the entertainment prices and staff were all fine, but I just did not feel comfortable in there with the crowd that was in.

Now I am not totally sure but just with how people were acting and how they danced it seemed like a lot of them may have been on drugs, and that is not the sort of atmosphere I would like to be in.

So due to that reason I have never been back. Although like I said everything else was good apart from thew crowd and the toilets. Maybe if I went in a different time it may have been different.
