Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles

Advantages: Beach, Scenery, Monday Salou Market, Close to Barcelona, Cheap (there and presents to bring back)
Disadvantages: Some people - don't go if you don't like being pushed out of the way by locals!

...What a wonderful holiday! We searched the Internet for ages for information on our hotel prior to our holiday and found nothing - so here you are for anyone else interested in going! Hotel Los Angeles is 5 minutes from the beach, less than one minute to the bars (across the road!) and less than one minute to the restaurants and shops. It is very commercialised - you don't feel like you're seeing much of Spain, but the cheap prices for everything including our holiday and beautiful scenary and beaches make up for it. The hotel itself is a bit more than basic - it has 2 twins and either a single or bunks in the two rooms we had between the four of us (myself, my boyfriend and two friends, all early 20s). A bath and shower and TV (only CNN English speaking). The walls are paper thin. I would not recommend it as a hotel for light... Read review

...This Sheraton Hotel in Anaheim, Los Angeles is a beautiful hotel and is situated perfectly for sightseeing and days out at Disneyland! It has been given the AAA Three Diamond Award this year for its outstanding quality. *Hotel* This hotel is very magical as it is situated right next door to Disneyland California and Disney?s California Adventure Park. Not only is it within great reach of these two Parks but it is in the heart of Orange Country and it is in a good situation to see Los Angeles and its fine beaches and attractions. It is also conveniently close to Los Angeles Airport. The hotel is magnificent and has a castle-theme. The year round beautiful weather in Los Angeles makes this a perfect holiday destination anytime of the year. The hotel has all the facilities that you would expect from any Sheraton Resort... Advantages: Sheer luxury

...Me and my family stayed here a few years ago. You can't fault this hotel for luxury. After all it's a 5 star hotel. The rooms are spacious, it has a large open air pool with plenty of sun loungers. There are 2 restaurants which offer a variety of choices. However prices are high, and a better option would be to drive to Marbella about 10 minutes away. You will be spoilt for choices with an array of cuisines catered for. One downside if you don't have a car you have to take Taxi's everywhere which could be costly if traveling longer distances. A feature of the hotel is the cabane which is a 5 minute drive away, with regular shuttle buses to take you there. Here you can relax away from the crowds on your private stretch of beach or by the swimming pool. Full size beds will have to be booked in advance and sun beds are available but... Read review
