I decided to treat my mum and me to a short break to Abu Dhabi last year and choose the MillenniumHotel to stay in. We managed to find a taxi easily enough at Abu Dhabi airport and after a short drive (30mins) we arrived at the hotel. On first impressions I was a little disappointed. I had all these grand images in my head, but in reality the hotel seemed pretty standard.
The room itself was quite basic (considering the price we paid), but it was clean and the beds were very comfortable.
The hotel does have a nice swimming pool (although a little on the small side) and area for catching some sun.
Getting around Abu Dhabi was fairly easy, taxi's are always available and very cheap.
One trip I would recommend is the desert safari and evening barbecue. Driving up and down the sand dunes in the deserts was thrilling, I was ...

So I knew that the best thing we could do was book into the Millennium UN Plaza for a real treat ...
Advantages: Inclusion of new Players like Yuvraj and Zahir in the team. Disadvantages: Lack of an allrounder like Adam Gilchrist of Aus and Kallis of SA
The Headlines on Monday Morning in all Leading Newspapers:
India's dismal performance shows it all....
Well India no doubt played well in Nairobi in the ICC knockout trophy. But they went down to NewZealand in the finals. We cant say that India is still a side having players involved in match fixing. The reason is that India didnt perform well on that particular day.In the same way when they were in Sharjah playing against Srilanka and Zimbabwe,we cant say that they played badly, they did perform but not to their mark, and so we went down in the final to Srilanka by a very big margin and this has constituted the lowest ever Indian total.Well some of our friends say that India presently undergoing problems like match fixing is still under the pressure of this "Fixing" stuff. But the present team has a lot of new players like Zahir Khan ...
