Down on the Farm in Devon

Advantages: Clean accomodation, animals, play areas
Disadvantages: Road access, restaurant only open two nights per week

, and bar/café, as well as the camping and touring caravan pitches are situated on the left hand side, along with some static caravans. On the other side, and further up the hill, lie more static caravans, and the farm "cottages". This was the area that we stayed in. You couldn't see or hear the main road from here. ACCOMODATION Parkers Farm offers 25 static caravan types for hire, which are graded A to G. In general, these are available for hire from Saturday to Saturday, but there are 2 caravans available for hire from Friday to Friday (or like us, from Friday to Monday). Unfortunately, this meant that we only had the "choice" of a type G van, which was 10ft by 28ft. Now, I have to confess that I have seen a few mobile homes in my time. Review of Parkers Farm Holiday Park

On the farm

Advantages: Good time piece models
Disadvantages: none

This farming family 40954 made by Britain's has been around for several years I have played with it in several different play venues. Britain's makes authentically detailed farm equipment models scale 1:32 There are tractors combiners and other vehicles plus animals for the farm. So to tend the animals, drive the vehicles we need some people. The people in this farm family group are about 5cms tall .Recommended for over 3 year olds. This farm family mum, dad, girl and dog are dressed ready to work on the farm. They look a bit old fashioned really. They all stand on a base of brown mud plastic and all wear green wellies (except the dog who is not standing on mud but on his 4 legs.) . Farmer dad has brown trousers and jacket and wears a trilby hat. One hand is on his hip he is carrying a stick in the other. Mum sports a hat on her ...

Review of Britains Farming Family

Chapel Farm

Advantages: a nice break
Disadvantages: British weather

I fancied going away for the weekend but didn't want to go far or spend a fortune, I didn't even want to spend £100 a night for a basic hotel so I searched for guest houses in the lake district as we don't live far from there and the countryside is lovely. I couldn't find any vacancies so I suggested a caravan to my husband, he agreed as we both think it's great for children to be outside and they love it. I search the Hoseasons website and we decided to go on Friday after school and work etc and stay until Monday as the children were off school then. We wanted a fairly basic site as we were going to take games to play at night and the netball post and maybe the swingball. After looking I came across Chapel Farm Caravan Park in Little Asby. The Hoseasons site had a caravan available for 3 nights at a cost of £165, fairly cheap ...
