Really sorry to disagree with such a comprehensive and positive review but I have had the misfortune to stay at the Milton a couple of times (once for 4 nights) and also to have attended courses and seminars there.
Sure, if you can get a price of £50-60 it represents decent value but in my experience the food was unremittingly dreadful.
To be fair, I had not booked (nor was paying)personally because my visits have always been on business, but we complained a number of times about the quality of our lunches. We didn't eat there in the evening because the of our lunch-time experiences.
As a result of poor food my company has stopped using the Milton and it would take an awful awful lot to convince me to return.
As I say, sorry to be negative but I feel it necessary to warn others of my disappointment.
