First things first, if you like roundabouts Milton Keynes is the place to be it has hundreds. The place is laid out in a regular grid system and everywhere looks the same. The only interesting place to visit is the unique concrete cows. To get about a car is essential, as the bus service is terrible and expensive and getting a taxi especially late a night is next to impossible. The pubs are almost exclusively of the large theme pub variety and are expensive even compared to London and they tend to be of the no trainers variety so don't expect the places to be jumping. There is quite a good choice of restaurants but again they tend to be quite expensive. Firms are always looking for staff based in Milton Keynes this is probably due to the expense and it's reputation. Someone told me that seagulls fly upside down over Milton Keynes and I must say that after living there I have to say I agree with them.
You have written a load of codswallop, I live there myself and do not agree on ANY of the points you are going on about. This review is nothing but a total timewste.

Sorry for the harsh rating but I honestly cannot agree with any of the points you made. The grid system is helpful and so ok the roads look the same but that's about all that does. I've never found cheaper buses outside of mk, and the majority of bars in the theatre district allow jeans and trainers. Sophie.

Advantages: Great shopping centre, big theatre, environmentally-conscious council Disadvantages: No character, hideous architecture, even worse sculptures
