-Why Cyprus-
Why choose Cyprus? As a family we have never really thought about going to Cyprus, as my Grandad served his national service there for 2 years. So all we really knew about it was there where the Turkish side and the Greek side, and they were always fighting.
We know a lot of people who have been to Cyprus and they all gave it a big thumb up, but we never really understood what all the fuss was about.

Advantages: Relaxing in the mediterranean sun Disadvantages: Only get 2 weeks a year
...the beach as the walk back can be pretty tough going in the heat as once you get off the beach there is usually no breeze at all.
There is a weekly market selling all sorts - fruit, souvenirs, crystal, leather, clothes you name it you can probably find it in Icmeler market. Be prepared to barter with the locals you have to haggle over prices but can end up with some excellent bargains. I found that quite a shock the first year we went as wasn't expecting it to be so full on everyone trying to get your business and very vocal about it. Wasn't so bothered the following year as i knew what to expect.
Ladies send your man for a Turkish shave, they do it with a cut throat razor - it's quite fun to watch and gives them a face as smooth as a babies bottom!!! While your waiting why not have a manicure or a pedicure, a lovely treat.

I bought this book in 2003 for a Foundation course in Business. I only studied one unit in Marketing but had to write a marketing report for a company of my choice and this book was priceless.
