Suir, just half a mile from Clonmel Town Centre. Each of the bedrooms are individually designed and decorated and our luxurious suites include four poster beds and private steam rooms. The oak-panelled restaurant enjoys the views of the gardens and is renowned for excellent food. The Minella also offers a four star leisure centre with 20m pool, gymnasium, outdoor Canadian hot tub, sauna, steam room and massage facilities. Hotel Minella, with its extensive grounds and car parking facilities is the ideal location for holidays, family gatherings, weddings and conferences. Minella is ideal for golfing, mountain climbing, hillwalking, pony trekking and lots more.

The image used on the website is of the hotel, but from where you come in on the main road you don't see it as it's at the rear of the building. From the road, it's a clean, well presented but quite standard hotel.
We paid extra to get a balcony but, as you could see down three storeys ... ...on it for more than ten seconds. Otherwise, the room was nice, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was good too, all in all, very nice.
The breakfast was reasonable too, we ate downstairs (no room service), but mostly ate out in Clonmel.
We would go back, but wouldn't bother with the balcony again! ...
