...the place for you. The Ministry Bar, on Birmingham's busy Broad Street, has gone. It has been replaced by a Flares type 60's and 70's club, with day-glo decorations and afro wig wearing dancers. ...way outside the main city centre but is only a short taxi ride away. Now if you want to stay in one area for a night out then the place to go is Broad Street. This is the main nightlife area in the city centre and is busier at 3 in the morning than it is at 3 in the afternoon!! Bars include Key Largo, Stoodi Bakers, The Rat & Parrot, The Aussie Bar, Sports Bar, Seamus O Donnels, Brass House and Ministry of Sound bar. This is a great place to finish the night if you want to stay in the one area and not venture too far. Even though it is around a fiver to get in the best dj's and sounds can be regularly heard from the bar. If you are heading for Birmingham for a night out then make sure you hit Broad Street, as it is the only place to find the best nightlife and people. ----Shopping---- Birmingham is a great place to empty your wallet... ...earlier if your looking for lively nightlife with clubs your best to go to Las Americas to Veronicas. Veronicas is a mile long strip which has just about every bar/club imaginable from Clockwork Orange to Ministry of Sound. If this isn't your thing then most resorts has cabaret bars/karaoke/talent competitions and loads more. Or just chill out at a bar which plays local music. The choice is endless!!... Read review

.... Plenty of ‘PRs’ out on the prowl too, trying to get you into this place and that. Take your pick – go in with some pals and have a great time. ~~~ METRO Here you will find shops on the top level, then at night, the lower level opens up with Bars and semi-clubs. There is a ‘Ministry of Sound’ but I’m told it’s not quite like the ‘real thing’. There is a hot club there very popular with the scandivanians – thus attracting some very nice looking young Nordic girls (that’s a free tip for you younger guys!). For a livelier atmosphere in which to eat, you could try ‘Sunset Boulevard’ – a Planet Hollywood clone, but gets lively after about 11pm and you can use their Disco too.
