Advantages: A good piece of france with plenty of culture Disadvantages: None really
view. The rooms were about the same standard and of course all had their own TV and private bathroom. I did not see a restaurant and some people complined that the staff were not very polite.
What is there to see?
Right, well this is the place where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake so there is a museum dedicated to her. Worth a visit. There is also a magnicient cathedral that needs to be seen. It has massive spires on the top, one of which fell off on Christmas day a few years ago and they are only just replacing it.
In the city centre there is the Palace de Justice which is a sight in itself. Advantages: every single wonderful thing about them Disadvantages: they shed a lot of hair for a short haired dog
These magnificant dogs must be the most loving and faithful creatures on earth!
The dogue debordeaux originates from france and was used to guard vineyards and for cattle droving. They have the biggest head in the dog world and the cutest face to match. The DDB are intelligent animals and are highly receptive to training. If u want a dog that is kind, gentle and loyal then this is the dog for you. Although the DDB is not a low maintanance breed, they thrive off being adored and having as much time spent with them as possible, they love there family and like to beinvolved with everything! When my mum does our gardening my DDB even helps with that he prunes the bushes for her ( which he only ever does when he is gardening). The DDB loves being kissed and cuddled and actually comes to you to ask for kisses or will cuddle u himself. They ...
Advantages: Beautiful, lots going on, many shops Disadvantages: Lots of graffiti
I vistied Bordeuax in the summer for the Bristol-Bordeaux exchange. This consisted of me going to Bordeaux for two weeks trying to improve my French. It worked!
there is a lot of great features in Bordeaux. the airoport was the first thing i saw. It was very clean and ran on time.
I then was on the road where you see all the vine yards and big houses. the only bad thing was the amount of grafiti. this was probably becasue i was driving through a bad suburb.
The shops in Bordeaux are very good with a huge selection of shops. The main shopping street is about 1km long (well so i was told.) they had all the good English shops which were a little cheaper. Those of you who know how much Quicksilver costs will be suprised that you could buy shirts for 5euro about 3-4 pounds. Then they had my favourite shop which i think should be ...
