Position:
The hotel is located in Giesing at the middle ring conveniently and city centre near at the Tegernseer secondary road of 174 b.
With a public transport one reaches the hotel of the central station with the U1 direction Mangfallplatz. One can get out at either the weather stone place or piece Quirin Platz, the hotel is located approximately between the two stations.
Who travels to Munich with the aeroplane further takes the S1 or S8 to central station and then as described first of all.
A filling station, pharmacy, baker and Turkish snack are located in an immediate proximity. A hl supermarket is a couple of one hundred metres in the direction of the weather stone place.

GETTING AROUND: The best means of exploring Munich can be summed up in two words: Public Transport. Munich's train-network, which is separated into U-Bahns & S-Bahns, is clean, efficient and very reasonably priced. Taxi's, as elsewhere in Germany, are also very reliable.
WHERE TO STAY: Like most cities of this size, Munich has a comprehensive array of accommodation on offer. The huge and grand Bayerischer Hof, founded in 1841, is located in the centre of the city, and is arguably one of the loveliest hotels in the world. ...Station and by Taxi. S-Bahn and bus take about 45 minutes and are about 10 Euro per person, but there possible discounts for more people using the S-Bahn (Group Ticket). A taxi will be about 40 to 50 Euro, depending on where and when to go (traffic jams are a standard at Munich) for all people who fit in :-)).

Munich Main Station is located right in the middle of the city. It's not a very representative and comfortable place to spend more time as necessary, but as it's in the middle of the city of Munich it's a good place to start exploring the attractions of Munich. There are some hotels right next to the station but you should have a good look and a talk to the doorman before checking in, as some are the type 'pre paid and room rentable hourly' (I think you got what kind of hotel these ones are like).
