"Molly's" as it has been known as by most Brits living in Vienna is located on Teinfaltstraße, making it a 2 minute walk to Schottentor and the University, and only 5 minutes or so from the Stephansplatz, and a quite walk around the corner to the nearest branch of Subway, if you get a bit peckish. During the week it doesn't get as crowded as some of the other Irish bars, although this might be attributable to the fact that it doesn't show as much ... ...seating area divides into two, with the bar area and then a backroom, which means that there is plenty of seating space. Whilst the seating area by the bar is generally bar service, there is a table service for the backroom, and even when the pub is very busy, you still get served pretty quickly.
As well as the usual range of Irish beers, with one of the best Kilkenny's in town, there are a wide range of other beers, wines and assorted bottled drinks. ...

...in Vienna called this place Molly Arsey's because they don't like the place. I come here from time to time, as it is fairly centrally located, with Teinfaltgasse just off the Freyung and only 5 mins from either the circular tramroutes or the U Bahn, although the U2 doesn't run at weekends, but the U3 in Herrengasse is close enough too.
It is just like any other Irish bar really, because it is where all the ex-patriots like to meet together, and ... ...high price. It is not as big as Flanagans which is great for live sport, and therefor if you want to get a table you will need to come fairly early. On the weekends the bar is always packed, and whilst the people are very friendly towards you, this is not the place for a quite beer.
