Manufacturer's product description
This traditional Irish pub and restaurant enjoys a privileged location on the edge of Killarney's world-renowned National Park. Molly D'Arcy's is roughly two miles from town, and within easy walking distance of major attractions including the lakes, Muckross House and Torc Waterfall. Stone walls, oak beams and open fires reflect the hospitality of bygone times. You may even choose to sit in one of the old confession boxes for a drink! Bar food is served all day until 10p and Molly's Restaurant is open for dinner. This establishment has been awarded two AA Rosettes and was the Black and White Irish Pub of the Year (1991) and Kerry Pub of the Year (1998). The modest menu features freshly made sandwiches and traditional hot entrees, including stew and roast of the day.

KILLARNEY - A Town Reviewed
Review of Killarney (Ireland) by
charis18uk
Advantages: Beautiful, unspoilt countryside. Captivating.
Disadvantages: You won't want to come home!!!
...***UPDATED***
Breathtaking scenery...
Unspoilt countryside...
A pace of life to be envied!!
An overview of one of the largest towns in Southern Ireland. All information was gathered on my trip to the Emerald Isle in July 2000.
Killarney Town
Killarney is a busy market town and the oldest and most popular tourist destination. That said it is not as busy or as much of a tourist trap as you think it is going to be. With ‘Killarney National Park’ and the ‘Ring of Kerry’ a short drive away you can easily escape into the beautiful unspoilt countryside of Southern Ireland
The town itself offers an extensive range of restaurants, entertainment and traditional Irish pubs. I would highly recommend 'Wilde Oscars' a bohemian, welcoming and stylish restaurant located in the centre of the town. A meal...

Sweet Molly Malone
Review of Molly Malone's Irish Pub & Guesthouse, Siem Reap, Cambodia by
stravaig
Advantages: This is as good as you could want anywhere - and consistently so.
Disadvantages: None
...Molly Malone's is an Irish pub and guesthouse in Bar Street - the hub of Siem Reap's nightlife area. The pub is very tastefully done out with Irish memorabilia and loads of beautiful wood. It's all very clean and well cared for, with nice toilets too.
It's open to the street so you can sit at a table at the front and watch the world slowly amble by.
It's friendly and fun. Invariably at some stage in the evening the music is cranked up and everyone sings "... I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone. As she wheeled her wheelbarrow..." Chucking out time is somewhere between midnight and 1am, when almost everyone, including Thierry (joint owner of Molly's), heads down the street to THE nightclub in town - Angkor What?
Angkor What? "Promoting irresponsible drinking since 1998" is run by Charlie. Fantastic guy...

Come and relax in this stunning location
Review of Hotel Europe, Killarney by
nim12
Advantages: stunning location, large rooms
Disadvantages: located outside town centre - best accessed by car
...and relaxing. There are other lounges decorated in a more French style, a German themed restaurant/bistro, Irish pub (of course!).
The hotel is sort of E shaped with the middle part of the E missing, allowing the rooms in the middle section to have lovely views over the lake. At the top tip of the E is the swimming pool whilst the breakfast area is at the bottom tip of the E, again with large glass windows and views across the lake and mountains. unfortunately it was sooo sunny whilst we were there that they had to pull some of the blinds to block out the sun.
Breakfast was buffet style but a nice touch is that there is a chef cooking eggs to your specification. A great cooked breakfast with Irish sausages, bacon, black pudding, tomatoes and mushrooms. Porridge was also available (my husbands fav) in addition to the usual choice of cereals...
