Advantages: Weather, Clubbing, food, friendly Disadvantages: can be quite expensive in certain places
...When two of my friends decided to get married (to each other) in AyiaNapa Cyprus last year (September 2003) I jumped at the chance for a two week break away with them and 50 others to share in their big day. As someone who thought Ibiza was the clubbing capital AyiaNapa never really appealed to me, my two weeks there changed my mind completely.
Hotel
We actually stayed outside AyiaNapa in Nissi Bay, at an apartment complex called ‘Stavrolia’ (Nissi Bay is about a three minute taxi ride or twenty minute stroll from AyiaNapa) the apartments were very clean and spacious and the cleaners were regular and through in their duties, there were balconies in every apartment (two in mine). The resort is run by a friendly man called Christophe who is aided my various family members and an old family friend called Lucy who does most...

Advantages: Sunny, good nightlife Disadvantages: Taxis rip you off!
...AyiaNapa is reguarded as 'the party capital' of Cyprus. Full of bars, clubs, sandy beaches and tourist attractions, Ayianapa is not just for the young!
Im 19 and have been to Cyprus many times as a child and recently visited with friends. We stayed about a 20 min walk away from the centre of AyiaNapa as at night it can become very busy and fairly noisy.
AyiaNapa is home to many wonderful beaches, the most well known being 'NISSI BEACH', this can become very busy and full during the day so make sure you head off early morning to ensure you get a place! Water sports are available at a price. Sunbeds/loungers do have to be paid for but at a cost of between 2-4 cypriate pounds.
Getting around AyiaNapa is very easy! Taxis are everywhere [Though arange a price before you get in ans they tend to cover up their meters and charge you...

...AYIANAPA, THE PLACE FOR PEOPLE AGED 2 - 82!!
Most people's assumption is that AyiaNapa is full of clubs and that all you will hear is party noise - WRONG!
Cyprus as a whole is very family oriented and is very welcoming to tourists, particularly the English. the English tourist can be very lazy here as English is generally spoken very well by the majority of Cypriots and in particular those in the hospitality trades.
The waters are crystal clear, many hotels offer introductory SCUBA diving courses and full PADI courses are readily available. Majority of AyiaNapa\'s beaches are of Blue Flag standard, and there are still a few coves known only to a handful of people to offer privacy peace and seclusion.
In AyiaNapa itself, a car is not necessary, but you could make use of one, and if you were staying for two weeks you could...

Having recently read a lot of great reviews of very expensive cosmetic products, I've taken a long hard look into my own make-up bag, pretty bare that it is. I don't tend to wear much make-up, and I certainly don't spend a great deal of money on it.... more
