I was a little worried at first as the Monarch airlines logos and image looked VERY cheap. My fears were soon lost when we boarded a very new (A330?) plane to Florida.
I hadnt been on a plane for a LONG time, and it was a bit of a new experience. The staff seemed very eager to please, and sorted out any problems people had on the flight.
The seats were ok, if a little narrow, and the food was surprisingly good.
One point, however, I did order a vegetarian meal, but was served meat. Fortunately I am not a strict vegetarian, I eat certain meat (but not Lamb or Chicken for example) and was worried I would be offered Chicken. They did offer to change my meal, but I was happy with the English Breakfast served up!
One point - they flew in to Sanford International airport rather than Orlando, which was extremely good as it took about 10 minutes from landing to getting into the hire car! No chance of that at Orlando Airport im sure!!
Overall, a good experience, and baggage was handled very well.
