Advantages: Handy stop-off on your travels Disadvantages: A busy venue at all times of the day
...Driving northbound on the Sligo to Donegal road (N15) you are sure to drive through the picturesque village of Drumcliff. The Churchyard here is internationally recognised as the burial place of the poet WB.Yeats making this the definitive heart of Yeats Country.

Advantages: Close to Sacre Couer Disadvantages: Close to the red light area of Pigalle
...In easter 2000, I and my family stayed at the Bouquet de Montmatre Hotel in Montmarte, Paris. This was described as a lovely hotel, overlooking a Parisienne street market, however the reality was that the hotel was nothing more than a brothel. Quuite unfit for families. Activities of a very dubious nature going on through the night. The female manager/owner of the hotel was grumpy and rude, and when confronted with complaints she suddenly could not understand English. I feel that people should be warned of places such as these, as all we have to go are phtographs in brochures bearing romantic descriptions, which in actual fact bear no resemblance to the truth. Other people shold unite and air their views on the internet so that their experiences can be read by a global audience....
