Ahh the Britannia Country HouseHotel, a couple of miles from Manchester airport, the perfect place to stay the night before jeting off on our honeymoon, thought my new wife and I in August 2006. We booked online and only paid £64 for a double room with champagne on arrival, and it looked so modern and the name country house just added to the picture in our heads what a perfect start to our honeymoon. How wrong can you get.

Paddington House doesnt look fantasic from out side but this hotel is alot better inside.
more suitable for older people from 35 and upwards.
But this hotel has an exerlant restraunt inside and everything is perfect.
The hotel is in a brilliant place as there are lots of things to do round the area.

Advantages: Great location and nice rooms Disadvantages: Little bit expensive, but good value overall

Following the bombing in 1996 Manchester city centre has undergone total regeneration and there are all the famous name shops you could ever hope to find. On Deansgate, St Ann's Square and King Street you will find a whole host of designer names such as Hugo Boss, Ted Baker, Karen Millen, DKNY and Tommy Hilfiger. On Market Street and the Arndale Shopping Centre you will find all your favourite high street favourites.
