Don’t be the last person in Edinburgh to try Montpeliers

Advantages: Nice and comfortable
Disadvantages: Can get busy

Montpeliers looks nice. It has a homely feel to it. It is comfortable; you can snuggle down into some of the seats at the back of the restaurant area.

The menu is also surprisingly varied. I mean, you can consider Montpeliers to be a restaurant and not just a pub that serves food. Mind you, the prices to reflect that; ...

Some people don’t like crowds and Montpeliers can certainly be crowded. However, I’ll state for this review, that the times I have been there for lunch it has been a much calmer atmosphere to the place. The restaurant is just a little too far away from Princess Street and the town centre for the businessmen and women to get there for lunch.
