The music played in the bar is very to suite all age groups, style and tastes though it never appears to be overly loud.
They serve a good range of beers, Hogarden, Leffe and a dark beer plus a great array of wines and spirits and as you are off the main drag prices are not bad either. ... more
I know the name has connotations so don't let it put you off but do if in Venice give it a try.
We go there every year on our Venice trip and have never felt out of it or disappointed.
Our first trip to Venice and we stayed in a hotel just along from the bar and it was a stopping off bar on the way back to the hotel, and has now become a regular drinking hole.

Venice is the city to wander along in without any haste and purpose, but if along the Calle dei Fabbri, pop in and enjoy.
