Advantages: Great hotels, and facilities Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE!!!
...After another argument with the little lady I was feeling stressed and in need of some TLC. "Right that’s it" I shouted, "We are going away for a night". To which she replied "where?”
She had a point, i am only 21, I can’t drive and i am not rich in any way shape or form. Despite this I really needed a break from reality. The Christmas bonus had just been deposited into my bank account so I thought of the closest 4 star I could think of. "We are going to that big hotel on the Wroxham Road" said I not knowing the name at the time.
So off we went, as we pulled down the seemingly endless drive from the main road I thought gosh this looks different to any hotel I had ever stayed in (i am more used to forte pothouses or similar!!). Advantages: Room cleanliness excellent, facilities and dining quite acceptable. Disadvantages: Had a battle with the doors in my room
...a stylish kind of 'raindrop' design on them. There was no bath, but the shower worked well and there was more than ample hot water.

So I endured a Turkish bath atmosphere in the bathroom.
Do your outback washing

Advantages: Magnificent golf course. Magnificent hotel. Magnificent facilities. In short, simply magnificent. Disadvantages: Not a thing!
...in the whole of Ireland. What’s more, as I write this review in late June 2004, the green fees (€50 midweek) are exceptionally cheap, making the course an absolute must for any golfer visiting this lovely part of Ireland.
What’s more, the facilities offered along with the par 72 Championship golf course are truly fantastic, and are about to improve even more with the opening of a brand new 4 star hotel in August 2004 to compliment the existing hotel, club house, and leisure facility. But more on this later. First let’s concentrate on what makes Mount Wolseley so special as far as the mad cabbie is concerned; the truly magnificent golf links.
~ ~ Mount Wolesley is a relatively new golf course (early 1990’s) but is built on a very old country estate that was owned for generations by the Wolesley family, who made their family fortune...
