This hotel is very clean and tidy and very professionally run. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble for any of them. They all made an effort to speak with the children and made us all feel welcome.
Although the hotel was fully booked we never really felt as though we were packed in. The hotel and it's grounds are very spacious.
There are numerous restaurants on site all with a very good choice and high standard of food. There is regular entertainment too at various bars on site.
There are serval pools too, one is a noisy pool where children can play volleyball and generally make a noise and there is another that is a quiet pool where children are encouraged to been seen and not heard. One thing though, children (or anyone for that matter) are not allowed to wear a t-shirt in the pool. So make sure you take high factorsun protection.
There is also a childrens play area (away from the pool), a kids club, tennis and a gym.
Downtown is a short Tok Tok ride away, £20 Egyptian about £2.20 Sterling. There are more restaurants and bars there, also a supermarket, some gift shops and a chemist. For something a bit more classy and the same price in a Tok Tok I would recommend going a little further to the Marina.
The beach at this hotel isn't very good. Very rocky and not so much sand as grit. The water is shallow for maybe 3/4 of a kilometer (good for the children) then there is a bit of coral and it gets deeper. To snorkell I would say either go on one of the boat trips or take a Tok Tok to Mangroovy Beach, just past the Marina where there is a little bit of snorkelling around the the sea grass but nothing spectacular.
