There are more bars there per an inch, that drinking is not a problem in this town. There are lot's of good Cloths shops and ... ...nice natural lake alongside a manmade lake a couple of miles up the road in summer this place is a sun trap and a fantastic place to visit if only for it's stunning beauty. Do not be put off about the war that was some time ago now and things have changed significantly now. There is only one hotel and it is in the centre of town. There are more bars there per an inch, that drinking is not a problem in this town. There are lot's of good Cloths shops and cloths are quite cheep. Remember Yugoslavia was popular holiday destinations for quite some time and lots of people do speak English especially with this now being a British Army Garrison Town. So again you really do not need to worry about your safety here. There is a very nice natural lake alongside a manmade lake a couple of miles up the road in summer this place is a sun trap and a fantastic place to visit if only for it's stunning beauty. Despite the horrific pictures people see on the news Mrkonjic Grad is in fact a delightful small town. Its such a pity it has been depicted as such a dull place. There are lovely quaint hill side houses every where you go. Set in amongst rolling hills and lush forests. In the middle of what is a war torn country, I found it a pleasure spending the winter here. During the summer you have a medditerranean ...
