MT50 - A PHONE I CAN (still) TRUST!

Advantages: Storage of multiple SMS (text messages) in Archive; blue screen; phonecode; makes clear calls
Disadvantages: Only stores 50 extra telephone numbers; cannot create OWN ringtone (although CAN download from internet); no camera, no bluetooth

replacement was ON! The problem is this: mobile phone preferences are SO personal. It took me nearly THREE months to finally give up the search for a C35i and accept a new model - a PAYG MT50 (£30 off retail price at Tesco with voucher from August Clubcard Statement) to put my chip in while I sent my broken C35i to have the screen mended. The surprise is, I now use the MT50 (or a subsequent MT50 WAP) as my main contract phone - and hardly miss the other - HOW ON EARTH DID THAT CHANGE COME ABOUT? ≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡≡ ...

mutant mt2000 a serious alpine contender

Advantages: mosfet technology (subwoofer compatible headunit with no amp), mp3 capable, auxillary input, 2 preouts
Disadvantages: -none-

Where to start with the mutant mt2000 i purchased this product in my local motorworld (barking) for £35 and have never looked back on my desicion. I reguarly see these unit on sale for around £60 and even at that price i would consider it a good purchase. The main feautres that attracted me to this product are its mp3 capability, front auxillary input and 2 sets of pre amplified output on the rear for 2 or more amplifiers. Capable of playing both regular cds and mp3 discs this unit is a dream to use it is only once an mp3 disc is loaded that the full capabilities of this unit are discovered with track searching feature and charachter searching features you no longer need to flick through all 120 songs on a disc to find the song your are looking for. The auxillary input on the front is also handy for connecting an ipod or mp3 ...

The perfect MD-MT821H

Advantages: recharge while play/record. V.short recharge time
Disadvantages: none

I am convinced the MT-821 is the work horse unit of the group. This unit can record and play while being recharged, and has a great battery life. The thing about the unit that amazes me is the rechargin time. I know it says it takes 3 hours or so to recharge a fully dead battery, but for me its no longer than 45 min! I think the unit is sturdy, although the lense is loud when it moves, the clamshell feature is well built. I have had the unit suffer many minor falls, and one major fall to the pavement from 3 feet. Only thing it suffered was a small ding in the clamshell top, the unit didn't open quite right when i first tried to open it after this, but it has since RESET itself to open properly. :~D Only problem i have ever had is using the original power supply (from japan). When i charge the unit, if playing it will stop and wont play ...
