Everything about this hotel is perfect from beginning to end! Our rooms were the best i've stayed at while in Thailand (and i stayed at 5 different hotels!)
It cost about 100baht per person to get a mini bus directly to your hotel and they drop right outside.
on arrival the staff were extremely friendly and took our bags straight away. The hotel entrance was quite quaint with a road leadingup to a lare style bungalow (the lobby). We stayed in a twin room that was a good size surrounded by palm trees. The decor was white brown and red which sounds unual but worked quite well. We had a window seat as well as chairs and a balcony. Our room felt like its own bungalow rather than a room in a hotel. The beds were firm but comfortable with spare pillows available. We were provided with the usual bathroom accessories, shower gel, shampoo etc etc. The bathroom had a huge mirror and extra lighting which is perfect for the vain among us. Our bathroom had a gian corner bath/jacuzzi which can easily fit two people. Diagonally opposit is a free standing shower with a gigantic shower head for the most relaxing shower ever.
You can walk to the semi-private beach without leaving the hotel! The staff were absolutely fantastic and the whole ambience is great. The breakfast was at the restaurant hotel which is located on the beach and the food was really nice. The only negative is that the restaurant is open air and as it can get hot it could benefit from air conditioning if it was indoors.
It is a bit on the expensive side but you get a lot more than what you pay for. There is a dvd player and it is very easy to get the latest dvd's from the main road.
It is a great place to relax and is only about a 5 minute walk from all the hustle and bustle of Chaweng Beach Road where you can shop all day.
