The Mundomar children's playground is very good. There are climbing walls, slides, ramps, bridges, nets and a great variety of swings. The kids love this area and you can sit and take in the sun!
The restaurant is basic but fine - a little over priced but all attractions in this area seem to have expensive food and dirinks.

Advantages: Great family day out Disadvantages: Very slow paced day
Mundomar is an animal park situated on the hills on the outskirts of Benidorm. It is a refreshing change from the many bars and clubs in the resort and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. There are many theme parks and attractions in this area but I would definitely suggest this as one to go to. The park is spread over a hill and therefore anyone with mobility problems should contact the park in advance because they may have some difficulties. The ... ...such as parrots and flamingos, and I wasn't expecting a great deal of the rest. However, on entering the underground cave I completely changed my mind. The relaxing music and large glass viewing panels made this area somewhere I could have stayed all day! From then on in, the park just got better and better and most of the animals were fascinating.
There are 3 shows which are performed daily at the park; dolphins, parrots and sea lions. I would ...

Advantages: Great family experience Disadvantages: need to run around for show times
Mundomar, one of Benidorms great attractions. My three kids, my wife and i went there near the end of the spanish tourist holiday season so we got cheap entry to it. Are we glad we went. It was low priced and so enjoyable. It started for us in the early afternoon when we watched the first showing of the sea lions and walrus's. They did amazing tricks and were really funny. It was like watching a comedy show. When that show was done we had to rush ... ...of our day there. The dolphins did awesome tricks and were jumping what seemed like 50 feet into the air. People,( children ) were picked from the audience and placed into small boats where the dolphins would push them around and play with them. The most spectacular part of the whole experiwence came near the end of the show when we were allowed to have a short swim with the dolphins. I will never experience anything again in my life as i felt in ...

Advantages: Good weather and a lot to see Disadvantages: Very compact with the mountains surrounding it
I went to Benidorm a few years ago and what a great place, Benidorm has a microclimate which has great weather. There are many restuarents here and there is a lot to do wether you are young and want to go clubbing or if you are a family and want to see the town or go to the beach. Benidorm is really two towns. The new and the old. The old town clontains specialised shops and sights to see while the new town contains all the hotels and the nightlife. I found no problem with the place at all and landed at Alicante before going to benidorm. There is also many parks to see near and around benidorm like Aqualandia, Mundomar Marine,Terra matica and the medieval tournament. Prices are still quite good but are much higher than they were like many other places in Spain and different countries in the EU with the Euro introduced. The beach in ...

Advantages: Fun in the sun for all the family Disadvantages: Maniac drivers!
many new apartment developments, and existing hotels in and around the town, including the one my mother works at 'Los Limoneros'. Every week there is a brilliant market in Moraira, as there is in many of the towns in the Costa Blanca. This market sells anything you can think of - crafts, food, music, videos, clothing etc.
The main place to visit in the Costa Blanca, and the main attraction for thousands of tourists every year is Benidorm. Think Blackpool, heat it up a bit, remove the trams and you've got Benidorm! Whenever i holiday in Spain i always spend at least a couple of days and nights in Benidorm, because there is a hell of a lot to do. Admittedly its fairly touristy and cheesy, but not so much that its not enjoyable. The following attractions are ones which i have had enjoyment out of in Benidorm.

Advantages: Variety between typical Spainsh towns and tourism Disadvantages: You need a car to see the spots
to travel the area.
Guadalest is one of the most traditional places i visited, although it has already been discovered by the tourists and is now a day trip from Benidorm. The house are built into the side of the mountain like caves. There is loads to do here with its many museums and walks around the village and castle. A must visit in Guadalest would be the waterfalls. They say that the main waterfall here is the one filmed in the timote shampoo advert a few years ago. whether this is true I dont know, But I do know that it is an execellent day out. You can swim ion the freezing fresh water springs and sit on the rocks under the waterfalls, truely a must see.
The costa Blanca has musch to offer, with many day trips and excursions, such as the aqua park in Benidorm, or Mundomar an animal cantre, also in Benidorm. Or Peakock ...
