OAN`S ZWOA G`SUFFA
Review of Hofbräuhaus (Munich) by BACK_IN_BLACK_DEVIL

Advantages: --
Disadvantages: --

The court brew house became 1589 the V on operating duke Wilhelm. (builds also the religious called)? Beer permanently lay in bucketfuls from the Lower saxon Einbeck that the reason it and its royal household did not like the local beer and it was tired (Günter recently wondered after the buck beer there, too manure) close manage to have to have in it. It engaged therefore Heimeran Pongraz to do the making of a brewery court of one's own with an ...
...at once, too. The court brew house got world-famous also thanks to a song. "A court brew house, one, two, g, is ' " in Munich suffa...everybody knows well. Composer of this song was by the way a Berliner. The court brew house is located in the Munich centre at the Platzl 9. I so seldom was there, I can never either describe like one since there hinkommt. I always follow the nose...and usually find it very fast. Odeon place is it respectively approx. ... Read review

If it swims - Fish Witte have it
Review of Fisch Witte, Munich by Cosmopolitin

Advantages: Very good meal, nice service, mad atmosphere
Disadvantages: Not very cheaply!

Last year I discover a new highlight on the Munich Viktualienmarkt. Fish Witte had cultivated! So evenly also the new and extremely chice restaurant, which borders equal to the fish shop Witte. The Innkeeper of fish Witte, Mrs. Hella Witte, are came the idea, the fish shop, which she operates together with their man for 20 years to increase with a restaurant. By Fish Witte I take lunch in former times a jumbo fishroll. And I always already found ...
...the old tables and at completely particularly beautiful noontime a small glas of wine to my fish roll. Fish Witte, is an institution on Viktualienmarkt. Differently than with "Nordsee". Mrs. Witte has always a prescription idea in stock, if you buys fish. And in such a way it did not lie far to also still freshly offer for the sales cooking and roasting for the immediate consumption. However Mrs. Witte does not cook. That makes an Italian cook with ... Read review

Here, Beer is Considered a Breakfast Food
Review of Augustiner Bräustüberl (Munich) by tastebud

Advantages: Extremely reasonable prices in a very authentic setting
Disadvantages: Service can be incredibly rude

...of respectable Bavarian cooking, the Augustiner Bräustuben showcases dozens of regional specialties on a menu where every item is under EUR 10 (and the traditional breakfast of white sausages and wheat beer can be had for a pittance). Such reasonable prices might alone draw the masses. Add the attractive, traditional setting with its high vaulted ceilings, provincial craftsmanship, long communal tables and instant comaraderie and the result is pure ...
...deeply in tradition as the Augustiner Bräustuben is, it's hardly a surprise to find a distinct paucity of healthful, vegetarian cuisine on the menu. The few meat-free options available are typical 'peasant-style' dishes that incorporate staples such as potatoes and cabbage slathered in weighty proportions of butter, cream, cheese and anything else that may contain assaultive quantities of saturated fat. The food settles like a rock in your gut but ... Read review

An Ignoble Effort
Review of Cafe Ignatz by tastebud

Advantages: Smoke-free atmosphere (a rarity in this corner of the world)
Disadvantages: Everything else that matters: disgusting food and horrendous service

...bad as the first. Cafe Ignatz, a small vegetarian restaurant in a quiet corner of Munich's hip Schwabing neighborhood, initially shows promise. To reach the dining room (smoke-free, a rarity here), you must first pass through a narrow walkway, one side of which displays a gorgeous spread of sweets: tiny, festive-looking biscuits, mouthwatering cakes...a good sign, you think. But after settling down at your table, the meandering menu reveals some ...
...second chance was just what Cafe Ignatz needed. Nothing could have prepared us for the disastrous evening that awaited us. Service moved at a glacial pace even though there are fewer than ten tables that demand a server's attention. Language seemed an obvious barrier; the young waiter didn't have a very good grasp of German, and so we resorted to pointing at the menu and speaking in short, carefully crafted sentences that we were certain could not ... Savour the Flavour
Review of Jeeta's (Restaurant) by tastebud

Advantages: Really good Indian cooking - unmatched in Munich
Disadvantages: No south Indian dosas.

...place for deeply personal discussions. Jeeta's is one of Munich's most renowned Indian restaurants, but it still maintains a neighborhood feel. The charming owner greets his guests as they arrive-and he obviously knows many of them. After dining here, it's clear why people keep returning. Several clippings of restaurant reviews are framed on the walls, proof that Jeeta's knows it has a reputation to live up to. And live up to it it does. Service ...
...and chili; a meal at Jeeta's seems somehow incomplete without it. The rich, creamy Palaak Paneer (EUR 9.46), spinach with homemade Indian cheese, possesses distinct undertones of cinnamon and coconut milk, and forever changes one's notion of how this dish should taste. Tender Himalayan chicken (EUR 13.04), prepared with mint, fresh coriander and yogurt is another standout. If you're having a difficult time choosing from the menu, consider one of ... Read review
