.... One not to be missed is the Musée Matisse at Cimiez this houses the artists own collection and gets five stars from me. Next door is the Musée Archéologique which is also good but as I spent three years in Greece I am a little jaded when it comes to classical artifacts.
The Musée d'Art et d' Histoire on the Promenade des Anglais has some fine paintings and decorative arts.
Muséedes Beaux Art at 33 Ave des Baumettes houses a fine collection.
Musée Chagall if you like Chagall this is not to be missed the series of paintings of old testament scenes is fantastic. I can not get my friend who usually accompanies me on these visits through the door, some people just hate Chagall.
Musée d'Art Moderne this is close to the Place Garibaldi and consists of a collection of 1960 to now Pop Art and is ok if you like that sort of thing...

...and a resplendent MuseeDes Beaux Arts which is housed in a 17th century Abbey. Look out for the underground carparks that were co-designed by architects and artists, great fun.
Since 1985 Lyon has been desperately trying to improve self-image and reputation, so a lot of money has been invested into the lighting of the city. This has worked wonders and as you stroll along the banks of the Saone at night, looking for a nice restaurant, (of which there are many,) you will appreciate the effort....

I have been a Muse fan since 2003 and the release of "Absolution". I have since seen them live 7 times, including the 16th June 2007 at Wembley Stadium.
So, as you would gather, I was looking forward to this DVD for a long long time. It was originally more
