Venezuela - My Latin Lover

Advantages: Great natural beauty
Disadvantages: Pollution from cars

a very small way, as the credit card advert goes ?Priceless?. Orientation and Important Stuff For those who do not know Venezuela is in South America on the northern coast of the continent looking out towards Trinidad and the rest of the Caribbean, in the west you have the Andes before you land up in Columbia and the south west is dominated by the jungles that lead into the Amazon. The capital city is Caracas which is located in the north, apart from the airport I spent no time in the city and only saw it from the windows of a bus. It has a bad reputation for crime however like all such places if you are sensible and stay in the tourist areas and do not venture out alone at night then you will be fine, the whole month in Venezuela the only negative comment I heard about Caracas was from a German bloke who got pick-pocketed on public ...

Exploring the Spanish Avantgarde

Advantages: Comprehensive collection of 20th Century Spanish masters
Disadvantages: Ridiculous examples of Minimal "Art"

The Museum Reina Sofia contains the most complete collection worldwide of famous 20th Century Spanish masters such as Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí, and is worth an extensive visit when travelling to Madrid. The Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, so its full name, is one of the three famous museums of fine art in Madrid, a trio which includes the Museo del Prado and the Museo Thyssen Bornemisza. I have discussed the Thyssen Bornemisza at length in my previous opinion, and have recommended it as an introduction to fine arts for the novice. That's because its collection of Impressionism and Expressionism is rather easy to comprehend and enjoy. The third and most famous is the Museo del Prado which covers the earlier periods of Renaissance, Baroque and Rokoko, and culminates in the collection of Spanish masters ...

MUSEO OF PRADO

Advantages: ALL
Disadvantages: NOTHING

Well, today i'm going to write about the "museo del prado". All those have been in Madrid, know that this museum is considered one of the best museums of Europe as Spanish painting. I am from Madrid, and i have been in this museum very many times and even so I do not get tired to go. If you travel to Madrid I recommend to you to visit it,because is very important. -----------Collections---------------- -Spanish paintings from 1110 to 1850. This are my favorite collection, because it represents the 70 % of the museum. Some famous pictures are "Las meninas" of Velazquez. -Flemish and dutch paintings from 1430 to 1700. The best picture for me is "the three Graces" of Peter Paul Rubens. -Italian Paintings from 1300 to 1800. -French paintigns from 1600 to 1800. Well, here and in my opinion, there are a very good picture ...
